As the founder of Stargaze Backpackers, I believe that travel isn’t just about ticking places off a list—it’s about slowing down, unwinding, and truly soaking in the experience. Inspired by this philosophy, I created Stargaze to be more than just a place to stay; it’s a space where travelers can pause, breathe, and enjoy the beauty of the journey itself.
Starting with a vision of ‘lazy traveling,’ I wanted to move away from the rush of itineraries and instead offer a haven where guests could embrace the art of doing nothing—whether it’s lounging with a book, sharing stories with fellow travelers, or simply watching the world go by. The name ‘Stargaze’ isn’t about chasing constellations; it’s about turning off the noise, slowing down, and appreciating the little moments that make travel special.
Beyond running the hostel, I’ve also been actively involved in hosting Camp Ziro-Z at the Ziro Festival of Music, ensuring a quality, budget-friendly camping experience for festival-goers. My journey in hospitality has always been about creating spaces that feel warm, welcoming, and effortlessly enjoyable. With Stargaze Backpackers, I hope to continue offering travelers a place where they can feel at home—wherever they are on their journey.
